The first flakes of snow fell on the roads in Darlington & the surrounding areas last night & already Ringroad Rescue have been called out to recover a vehicle involved in a accident due the the slippy road conditions caused by the low temperatures causing ice & snow to remain on the roads when commuters & shoppers headed out on the morning drive today, Increasing braking distances & requiring extra attention to be needed whilst driving.
